Malgaldrate:
- Ability to adhere to stomach wall
- Slower gastric empting provides greater neutralizing and cytoprotective effect.
Simethicone:
- Prevents formation of gas in GIT
- Relieves flatulence by increasing the rate at which gas exits the body.
